Photo Booth Frenzy: Embrace your Christmas Tacky!

Our December MOPS meeting was full of silly fun, crafts and a time to celebrate the birth of the God-child.

One of our mentors, Maria Lazo, shared about Christmas traditions she made with her family and now continues with her grandchildren. She also challenged our mamas not to get too caught up in the list of traditions or making everything perfect. Through the years, traditions should have space to morph and grow as your family needs.

On of the features of our evening was a "photo booth" put together by our Publicity Coordinator Allison Vasquez. Each table and different friends who dressed up could pose in the booth.

Our tradition for our Christmas MOPS gathering is a whole night full of crafting. This year our Creative Activities Coordinators, Kiley and Kari, put together some great projects, including burlap pendants that the mamas could pain words like "joy," "peace" or "love" on, a blessing jar, a Christmas cookie layered mix and Christmas tag-making station. What fun to see the tables connecting and even some "non-crafty" mamas getting in on the action!
