Coordinator's Corner: Getting Organized. . .

I don't know about the rest of you, but Heather gave me some amazing ideas last week at our MOPS meeting (Thanks, Heather!!!). In fact, she may have just got me in the mood to start "Nesting." Either way, a wave of organization has taken over my home. Not to mention, Target had a lot of the organizational boxes (I love boxes) on sale! I went box crazy this weekend! Plus, my fabulous husband actually put up the shelves in the closet that we have been meaning to do since we moved in . . . a year ago!

I know that as you were talking with your tables, or went home and started pondering, you may have come up with some ideas of your own. . . I want to make this post a sort of collection spot for you to put your ideas.

Here are some Tips that I find useful to keep me sane:

Cozi Calendar - everything is color coded and available to me at all times thanks to the WWW and my Iphone. It will even text you your grocery list if you forget it at home. . . how cool is that????

Refrigerator Calendar - I have a weekly calendar for the week that tells me what activities and when for each member of our family. It even has a matching Menu planner, with a perforated shopping list that keeps me organized during the week.

Now, here are some other websites that people have sent me. . . feel free to send me more or comment so we can add to the list. What a great resource of ideas we can create!

Happy Organizing!

for those with an iphone or other smart phone, check out this free app and website. it is similar to a lot of other grocery list sites but i like that it has an app too, as you walk to the grocery store, costco or target you can check off each item as you buy it, on the phone. You can add items thru the website or the phone and the part i use the most is my husband and i both use the app and he can add things to it and it will add to my list too! so as he thinks of something we/he needs he can add it instead of trying to remember to tell me.
    check it out!
