Big Fresno Fair: October 7-18, 2009.
Thursday, October 8th: Kids Day, admission is FREE for kids 12 and under with a paid adult admission! Children 5 and under are always free! Also, on this special day, the Fair will uphold a no smoking policy for all areas of the Fairgrounds.
Monday, October 12th Special Interest Day: Admission is FREE to persons with disabilities. One chaperone is admitted for free with each person that requires assistance.
Thursday, October 15th Drought Relief Food Drive: Bring 3 or more canned food items per person between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 15th and receive FREE admission into the Fair. Food will be donated to the Community Food Bank and The Salvation Army, who have partnered for relief support to assist areas affected by the water shortage on the Westside of Fresno County.
Cobb Ranch: $ 5.00 Per Person: Includes Animal Farm, Mini-Maze, Playground, Hay Stack Pyramid, Picnic Area and much more. 1 yr and under free. October 10th -31st Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 9 PM and Saturday & Sunday, 11 AM - 9 PM
Fresno Chaffee Zoo: ZooBoo October 23, 24, and 25, 2009 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Now THREE nights to choose from! ZooBoo is an exciting, fun, family-oriented Halloween celebration! The entire Zoo is decorated for the occasion. Kids will enjoy live entertainment, carnival games (extra charges apply), fun and prizes, plus trick-or-treating throughout the Zoo!
Tickets: Members - Adults $10, Children (2-11) $8; Non-Members - Adults $12,
Children (2-11) $10; Day of Event (if available) - Adults $14, Children (2-11) $12.
Hillcrest Tree Farm: Hillcrest Farm will be open to the public on weekends only from 10-5 for pumpkin patch: OCT. 10-NOV. 1, 2009. Pumpkins and all types of harvest products, Steam Train and Hay Rides, Food, Nature trail, play house area, and pedal tractors! 6943 S Reed Ave, Reedley, CA 93654
Hobbs Grove: Weekend Pumpkin Patch open to all from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm on these weekend dates of October, 17-18 & 24-25, & the 31st. Admission is free which includes a Straw Bale Maze, Corn Kernel Pit and Picnic Tables. We offer excellent food concessions and a Halloween Bootique. Tickets are available for The Fun Filled Forest with mini Corn Maze, and Tractor pulled Hayrides through Farmer Hobb's fields...all with scenes and characters to interact with. And of course, we offer lots of pumpkins and fun with Farmer Billy Bob Hobb and his friends! The Fun Filled Forest & Corn Maze $4, Farmer Hobb's Hayrides $4, Combo for both $7. Kids under 2 are free
Pumpkin King Pumkin Patch: Attractions include several large bounce houses, and our signature hay maze, and pony rides. You can also join the blood drive for a free pumpkin! Admission is free. Northwest Corner of Blackstone and Shaw.
